Want a better diet?
Set yourself up for success.
1) Set up an online grocery shop that you can repeat every week.
This will ensure you’re getting the foods you need to succeed on your diet but stop the impulse buys when you’re hungry or stressed. It’ll cost for delivery but saves a lot of time.
You’ll need to tweak it depending on the meals you’re cooking but having a template ready to go will make things easier.
2) Get the crap out of the house.
If it’s in the cupboard, you’ll eat it. You know the feeling, boredom sets in so you rummage through the crisp cupboard. If it’s not there then bad things don’t happen.
And hey, if you want then that bad you can always drive to the shop to get them.
3) Batch cook meals so you’re prepared.
You know those nights where you’ve had a stressful day at work, been stuck in traffic and haven’t got anything in. Those are the nights you get a takeaway. You probably don’t even fancy a takeaway!
Batch cook meals in advance and pop them in the freezer or fridge. Then the easiest option is to pop the meal in the microwave and your fed. I do this on a Sunday night – Pasta, sauce, vegetables and quorn!
